About Us

vtanaboard

The Vermont Association of Nurse Anesthetists (VTANA) was founded in 1957 to represent the interests and needs of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) living and/or practicing in the state of Vermont.

VTANA is part of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, a professional organization that serves more than 53,000 nurse anesthetists throughout the nation.

Certified Registered Nurse Anethetists (CRNAs) administer more than 43 million anesthetics in the United States each year. They administer every type of anesthetic, and provide care for every type of surgery or procedure, from open heart to cataract to pain management.
